Investmenting: AngelQuest
There are 2 basic parts to our AngleQuest Investmenting service:
- Investors looking for businesses to invest in
- Businesses looking for investors
This is a confidential service to introduce businesses and investors.
The rules are quite simple:
Rules for Investors:
- When you receive a business proposition, should you be interested in taking matters further we require you to contact businesses-for-sale.co.uk for the details of the proposer's accountant or solicitor.
- Should you proceed to invest then you will also advise businesses-for-sale.co.uk in order that we may invoice the business.
- Should a proposition be in breach of the rules (i.e. not anonymous, not one page A4), you should advise businesses-for-sale.co.uk. without delay.
Rules for Businesses:
We require, from their accountant or solicitor, a letter with a sealed A5 envelope attached.
That sealed A5 envelope will contain a one page A4 anonymous overview of their business proposition.
The sealed A5 envelope will be addressed with their accountant's or solicitor's reference.
If they are responding to a specific investor request, the sealed A5 envelope will also be addressed with our investor's reference (i.e. 01Z _ _ ).
Their accountant's or solicitor's covering letter (addressed to businesses-for-sale.co.uk) will NOT be forwarded to the you, the investor. It will however confirm, in writing, TWO important factors:-
- that the business seller is known to the investor and has confirmed his/her identity (this is not a personal nor business reference merely a confirmation of identity; nor is it a stamp of approval on the business overview)
- that, should the investor decide to proceed to invest, they (that is your accountant /solicitor) will advise businesses-for-sale.co.uk, without delay and in writing, by recorded delivery, that the investment has been made.
Our Commitment to You
We do guarantee to forward propositions to potential investors.
We make no warranty as to the viability, or standing, of any party or opportunity involved.
We do not guarantee the investor's response.
We do not disclose anyone's identity without specific permission.
Our fees
| For Businesses: | £45 per proposition, plus £1,000 (one thousand pounds) if and when any sale / merger / acquisition / transfer in any form is made directly or indirectly with our buyer. |
| For Investors: | £175 to be placed on the list plus £1,000 (one thousand pounds) if and when any sale / merger / acquisition / transfer in any form is made directly or indirectly. We reserve the right to request confirmation of your ID from either, or both your accountant/solicitor. |
